Just a little about me
Hello and welcome to my page!
My name is Sarina Adame. I am a mother, a wife, and a Pueblo native that wants to see my community be the best place possible. Pueblo has not only been my lifelong home, but is where my husband and I have chosen to raise our children.
I am a Pueblo native that graduated high school from Dolores Huerta Preparatory High. I furthered my education at Colorado State University- Pueblo where I earned a double bachelors in Business Management and Social Work. While working towards my bachelors I met my husband and we began our family shortly thereafter. After completing my bachelors, I began working for Pueblo City Schools. I worked in many different capacities while with the school district, but my last position as a Family Wellness Coordinator gave me the opportunity to assist families and to learn about resources along with community needs. I recently earned my Masters in Business Administration at Colorado State University- Pueblo, and I am currently employed as an accounting specialist.
In my spare time I am a volunteer dance coach and a board member of the Community Committee for Housing and Homelessness. Being able to be an active community member while being a positive role model for our youth is a huge passion of mine.
I am committed to give back to my community and provide attention to areas of concern. Having leadership that is approachable, respectful and willing to be apart of the community is key to having leadership that is trusted and valued amongst Pueblo residents.
What will I bring to the community?
Efficiency- Running the Clerk and Recorders office in an efficient and effective manner to best serve the community
Confidence- Giving our community confidence that their vote and voice matter
Respect- Providing our community with a bi-partisan leader that is respectful to all.
Accountability- Recording reports in a timely manner that provide the community with opportunities to handle personal and professional business in a timely manner.
